Citroën is the Official Car of RCS Sport races

02/03/2026

At Citroën’s headquarters in Via Plava, Turin, an agreement between Citroën and RCS Sport was announced: the French car manufacturer, part of the Stellantis group, will be the new Official Car of RCS Sport races for the 2026 season.

Giovanni Falcone, Managing Director of Citroën: “Our decision to invest in cycling stems from a deep sense of affinity: it is one of the sports closest to people, and therefore perfectly aligned with our brand. It is a democratic and accessible discipline, yet at the same time highly innovative and competitive, embodying the core values of Citroën’s identity — audacity, a popular spirit and a strong commitment to sustainability. The relationship between Citroën and cycling has a long history, but this partnership goes beyond traditional sports sponsorship. It represents an opportunity for Citroën to be physically present among fans across the country. For more than 100 years we have travelled alongside Italians, and supporting historic events such as the Giro d’Italia and the great Classics means celebrating our deepest and most authentic bond with the territory”.

Antonella Bruno, Managing Director of Stellantis Italia: “The partnership with RCS Sport is particularly valuable to us because it involves events that are among the most followed and deeply rooted in the country — not only in sport, but in Italian society as a whole. These events fully belong to the collective imagination and popular culture and represent excellence. They provide an extraordinary stage, quite literally crossing Italy, engaging and inspiring millions of people and speaking to diverse communities throughout the country. For us, this means being present where our customers live and move, enhancing a popular brand such as Citroën and supporting a major event with efficient, safe, sustainable and accessible mobility solutions”.
