The Giro Women 2026 medal is the perfect blend on craftsmanship, design, and Italian passion, created by Co.Ro, architectural jewellers based in Rome. A jewel that interprets the spirit of the race and transforms it into volume, rhythm, and charachter. A continuous curve wrapping around itself like a wheel, a gesture without end. Engraved with the iconic landmarks of the finish cities that define the 2026 route, along with the date of each stage, the medal becomes both a story and a keepsake: a memory of the competition and a tribute to an iconic race. Each stage is highlighted in pink, reinforcing the uniqueness of the piece: singular, exclusive, and unmistakable. A detail that brings together identity, place, and vision, celebrating Italian heritage, craftsmanship, and passion. “Don’t Stop Me Now,” sang Queen — don’t stop me because I’m having a good time. This is the true spirit of sport: making us feel good, making us feel alive.Alfonsina Strada embodies this spirit. The first woman to compete in men’s races such as the Giro d’Italia, she was a pioneer who challenged limits and affirmed the value of women’s sport.The highest climb of the Giro d’Italia Women is dedicated to her. In her honor, an art installation by Dela Vega has also been created: a unique piece celebrating her determination with a clear message, “DON’T STOP.”Because the true power of sport is resilience: falling and getting back up, every time. Just like Alfonsina, who proved with courage that even the impossible can become reality.

LUPO WOLFIE

A great team player and a fond cycling enthusiast, Wolfie is the Giro d’Italia mascot. Wolfie was born out of a joint corporate social responsibility project between the Giro d’Italia and the WWF European Alpine Programme.
