    Longo Borghini wins the Giro d’Italia Women 2025, with Lippert taking the final stage.

    Elisa Longo Borghini (UAE Team ADQ) has won the Giro d’Italia Women 2025. Marlen Reusser (Movistar Team) and Sarah Gigante (AG Insurance – Soudal Team) finished second and third, respectively.

    The winner of the Giro d’Italia Women, Elisa Longo Borghini, said: “It’s been an incredible Giro — for me and for the team. The last eight days were full gas: we had a common goal, and we achieved it. Yesterday was a great day, but the job wasn’t finished — we had to stay focused on today’s stage, and that’s exactly what we did. I’m speechless… this feeling is just amazing”.

    Liane Lippert (Movistar Team) has won Stage 8 of the Giro d’Italia Women, the 134km long Forlì-Imola (Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari), ahead of Anna Van der Breggen (Team SD Worx – Protime) and Marlen Reusser (Movistar Team).

    Speaking seconds after the stage finish, the stage winner Liane Lippert said: “I’m super happy — winning two stages is a dream. Yesterday was a bit disappointing, so today we really wanted to bounce back and raced with the goal of taking the win. It was an honor to see Marlen working for me in the final — she’s an amazing rider and a special person. I knew I had to finish it off to make her smile again”
