Marlen Reusser (Movistar Team) has won Stage 1 of the Giro d’Italia Women, the 14.2km long Bergamo (ChorusLife)-Bergamo (Sentierone) Tudor ITT that marked the start of the race and decided the first Maglia Rosa.
Lotte Kopecky (Team SD Worx – Protime) and Elisa Longo Borghini (UAE Team ADQ) finished second and third respectively.
