The Maglia Rosa of the Giro d’Italia Women has been unveiled


On International Women's Day, the symbol of the 2024 edition was presented at the Rinascente in Piazza Duomo in Milan

The Maglia Rosa of the Giro d’Italia Women 2024, organised for the first time by RCS Sport, was unveiled today at the Rinascente in Piazza Duomo in Milan. The jersey, sponsored by Polti and manufactured by Castelli, includes the logo of Italia.It, digital hub of Enit (Agenzia Nazionale del Turismo). Today, on International Women’s Day, all programmes and news bulletins on RTL 102.5, Radio Partner of the event, were presented by female voices. One of the main topics will be the new Maglia Rosa of the Giro d’Italia Women.


The event, presented by RTL 102.5 journalist Paolo Pacchioni, was attended by Pierluigi Cocchini, CEO at Rinascente; Urbano Cairo, President of RCS MediaGroup; Paolo Bellino, Managing Director of RCS Sport; Francesca Polti, President and CEO of Polti Group; Alessio Cremonese, Managing Director of Manifattura Valcismon; Barbara Mazzali, Councillor for Tourism, Territorial Marketing and Fashion of the Lombardy Region; Cordiano Dagnoni, President of Federciclismo; Paolo Sangalli, Women’s Road Technical Commissioner; and Marta Bastianelli, as well as many representatives of institutions, sponsors and the media.

Ending violence against women

On the collar of the Maglia Rosa, on a red background, is the inscription ‘We believe in victory’. The word ‘victory’ represents a symbol of women’s strength and determination to win in sport and in life.
